This well-established multinational healthcare company has a range of high quality and innovative products for the Medical market. With their expanding operation they have created a role for an additional Field Service Engineer based in Christchurch.
 
You will have the opportunity to use your previous experience in servicing of medical equipment or you may be working in a hospital as an engineer looking to enter into a more commercial role. You will be supporting market-leading products and developing strong relationships with clients, therefore your excellent communication skills, customer empathy and technical background will be of importance in this role.
 
Working in this dynamic, leading edge multinational medical company you will be a key player in the technical service role. Reporting to the Sales Manager your objective is to carry out planned maintenance and repairs on time, to budget and to strict standards and compliance requirements.
 
Area of Responsibility

• Repair and install large mechanical equipment, electromechanical equipment and power supplies  

• Troubleshoot for problems on-site  

• Provide customers with advice and assistance  

• Work individually and as part of the technical services team  

• EST qualification essential

• Good interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer focus  

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills  

• Computer literate  

• Experience in a biomedical and/or high tech field will be highly regarded
