Excitement is in the air with a number of clinical projects/trials initiated, creating multiple Clinical Research positions across ANZ as part of our ANZ Clinical Research team to oversee clinical trials and monitoring for our Neuroscience business. This role is based in Auckland and requires some travel across New-Zealand.
Reporting to the Clinical Research Manager, this is a unique opportunity to join a highly skilled team of Clinical Research professionals executing on an innovative portfolio of research.
You will be an experienced Clinical Research Associate or Clinical Research Specialist, having had at least 1 year's monitoring experience within medical devices/ Pharma or CRO. This is a wonderful opportunity over time, to take your monitoring career towards project management in medical technology and device research.
Key accountabilities:
• Oversees, designs, plans and develops clinical evaluation research studies.
• Prepares and authors protocols and patient record forms.
• Conducts registered and non-registered clinical studies of products that have been determined to satisfy a medical need and/or offer a commercial potential.
• Oversees and interpret results of clinical investigations in preparation for new drug device or consumer application.
• Oversees and resolves operational aspects of clinical trials in conjunction with project teams and in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP), good clinical practice (GCP) and specific country regulations and may prepare clinical trial budgets.
• May be responsible for clinical supply operations, site and vendor selection.
Experience and Skills Required
• Tertiary education in medical/ biological/ science/ nursing or equivalent field
• Prior experience in a CRA role essential
• Excellent stakeholder relationship management
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ability to work well within a team and autonomously
• Achievement oriented and ability to drive results with the highest quality standards
• Computer skills (excellent knowledge of MS Office products).
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good prioritization and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel
