This newly created role is based in Auckland and covers a territory across the lower North Island and Wellington. This is a full time fixed term 14 month contract, commencing later in 2021. Confidence and experience in launching new products, combined with strong business awareness skills and experienced sales techniques will come into play as you uncover opportunities for targeted GP practices.
Use your strategic vision and confidence in a commercial selling role, this opportunity will appeal to your enjoyment of challenging tasks.
Alongside your role, you will have support from a knowledgeable Medical Science Liaison and a highly reputable sales manager. With a combination of knowledge, training and evidence based practice you will have all the tools to excel.

The Specific responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:
Selling and influencing stakeholders through outstanding demonstration of Patient Focused Scientific Selling skills with a focus on accelerating Good Sell Outcomes for key brands.
Achieve territory and contribute to national sales targets for promoted brands
Cultivate and manage key stakeholder relationships within territory & map these within Territory Networking grid
The capability to consistently and skilfully apply comprehensive knowledge (scientific, medical and technical) that provides value to customers and builds trust
Preparation of an approved Business Plan that maximizes business potential and is implemented within an agreed budget and timeframe:
Aligned to marketing strategy and tactics
Identify and actively develop regional Key Opinion Leaders and stakeholders for the brand
Contribute fully to the sales team in sharing best practice and areas for continual improvement
Accountable for timely and expert utilisation of analytics to analyse territory performance and trends, and develop territory business insights
Skills and Experience
Pharmaceutical sales experience is a must
Experience launching new products
Experience selling funded and unfunded products
Capability to build sound relationships with medical professionals and external stakeholders
Ability to work with structured travel plans coordinating across other sales teams in the business
Desire to work within a structured selling model
NZ full driver's license and previous pharmaceutical sales experience is a must
