Role
Are you a Physio or or have a Health Science background with a passion for healthcare innovation? This exciting Wellington or possibly Hawke's Bay-based Product Specialist role is your opportunity to join a dynamic global orthopaedic company that's driving growth through cutting-edge solutions and patient-centered care.
You'll play a pivotal role in helping achieve sales targets and expanding market share by working alongside the Territory Manager building strong relationships with surgeons, hospitals, and other key accounts in your territory. Your deep understanding of clinical needs will be key to ensuring products are perfectly positioned and your established network leveraged to discover new business opportunities while maximising existing revenue.
Your analytical approach will be essential to evaluate customer feedback, drive customer retention, and adapt strategies to meet evolving needs. By collaborating with the direct sales manager and territory colleague, you will craft a targeted business plan that balances sales goals, activity levels, and case coverage to hit objectives efficiently.
Your exceptional communication skills will come to the forefront when leading in-service workshops, training hospital staff to be proficient in using orthopaedic instrumentation, ensuring they feel confident in the products you represent.
Skills and Experience
• Tertiary qualification in Health Sciences, Physiotherapy, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years' experience in medical devices, orthopaedics, or similar, in a sales-oriented role
• In-depth knowledge of the medical marketplace and its dynamics
• Proven experience working with healthcare professionals in their clinical environment
• A track record of exceeding sales targets, driving rapid growth for both new and existing products
• Strong ability to interpret clinical data, medical journals, and procedural documents
• Must be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or hold a valid work visa with full working rights (No Restrictions) in New Zealand.
