Strategic Territory Manager – 12 Month Contract
Territory: Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Hamilton-based preferred
 
We're looking for a commercially savvy sales professional in the diagnmostics space, ready to step into a high-impact contract role, driving key relationships across a major North Island territory. This is a 12 month contract – ideal for someone who thrives in a strategic, autonomous field role and wants to make a meaningful contribution to the healthcare sector.
 
You'll be joining a well-established, purpose-driven healthcare business focused on diagnostics and innovation. If you're passionate about health outcomes, customer partnerships, and managing complex accounts – this one's for you.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing key hospital and diagnostic lab accounts across your territory
  • Building and maintaining strong commercial relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Owning the end-to-end tender and contract process
  • Identifying new opportunities and contributing to broader strategic plans
  • Collaborating across internal teams to deliver exceptional service
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets while delivering long-term value
  • Staying ahead of the game by truly understanding your customers' challenges and goals
 
What we're looking for:
  • 5+ years in healthcare sales or account management
  • A background in diagnostics, medical devices or lab environments is ideal
  • Tertiary qualification in Science, Business or a related field
  • Strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills
  • Experience working with executive-level customers
  • A proactive, self-motivated style with a genuine customer-first approach
  • Full NZ working rights and a current driver's licence
