As Business Unit Manager – Acute Care, Diagnostics & Medical Consumables, you'll be a key figure on the management team, steering strategy, profitability, and long-term expansion. Reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director, you'll lead a team of product specialists, oversee product portfolios, and deliver commercial results that will directly shape the company's future.

Key Responsibilities

P&L & Strategy

Develop annual business plans, budgets, and sales strategies.

Oversee product pricing and tender processes.

Report on sales performance and market opportunities at board level.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop product specialists to exceed business goals.

Set KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and build a culture of accountability and growth.

Product & Market
-
Manage product launches, training, and marketing plans.

Stay ahead of healthcare market trends, ensuring the unit remains competitive and agile.

Stakeholder Engagement
-
Build and strengthen relationships with clinicians, suppliers, and decision-makers.

Renew supplier agreements and uncover new commercial opportunities.
About You
-
Tertiary qualification in Science, Marketing, or related discipline.

5+ years' experience in healthcare, ideally with Capital Sales exposure.

Track record in sales leadership and strategic business planning.

Background in a multinational environment is advantageous.

Legal right to work in NZ (citizenship, residency, or valid work visa).
