An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global healthcare organisation investing heavily in growth across New Zealand.
 
This newly created position will see you responsible for driving the adoption of a highly specialised healthcare technology portfolio within a rapidly growing surgical specialty, working with senior stakeholders across both public and private healthcare environments.
 
With national responsibility and significant market opportunity ahead, this role will suit an ambitious and commercially driven sales professional who enjoys developing strategic partnerships and leading complex sales opportunities.
 
The Opportunity
 
Reporting into an experienced leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a national growth strategy across a portfolio of market-leading healthcare solutions.
 
Working within a highly respected clinical environment, you will partner with healthcare professionals involved in complex surgical procedures, helping customers evaluate, implement and maximise the value of innovative healthcare solutions.
 
This role combines strategic business development, account management and complex solution selling, requiring the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders and navigate longer sales cycles.
 
Key responsibilities include:
 
• Developing and executing territory growth plans
• Identifying and converting new business opportunities
• Building relationships with senior healthcare decision makers
• Managing complex sales opportunities from prospecting through to implementation
• Delivering sustainable revenue growth across a national territory
• Working collaboratively with internal specialist teams to support customer success
 
About You
 
You are a proven healthcare sales professional who thrives in a performance-focused environment.
 
You have experience managing sophisticated sales processes, influencing senior stakeholders and consistently delivering strong commercial outcomes.
 
To be successful, you will ideally offer:
 
• A minimum of four years' experience selling capital equipment or complex healthcare solutions, ideally within surgical, hospital or specialist healthcare environments
• A history of exceeding sales targets and delivering measurable business growth
• Strong commercial and business development capability
• Experience engaging with executive-level decision makers
• Excellent relationship-building, presentation and influencing skills
• The ability to travel nationally as required
 
While experience within orthopaedics would be highly regarded, we are equally interested in high-performing healthcare sales professionals who have successfully sold complex solutions into hospital environments and are looking to take the next step in their career.
