This is not a cold-start role. You'll inherit strong existing relationships across hospitals in Wellington and the lower North Island, with genuine scope to grow the territory and make it your own. The role:
 
You will be responsible for managing and growing key hospital accounts across Wellington and surrounding regions. This includes building trusted relationships with clinicians, nurses, and procurement teams, providing product education and clinical support, and identifying opportunities to expand usage across departments.
 
You'll represent a broad and trusted portfolio, including wound care and surgical consumables, and play a meaningful role in supporting clinicians to deliver the best possible patient outcomes.
This role suits someone who enjoys being visible in hospitals, values credibility, and takes pride in owning and developing their territory.
 
About you:
 
• Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales (hospital experience preferred, but not essential)
• Strong relationship-building skills with clinical and commercial stakeholders
• A self-motivated, organised approach and the ability to work autonomously
• Professional, approachable, and solutions-focused
 
The essentials:
 
• Based in Wellington, Palmerston North, or the lower North Island
• Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand (citizenship, residency, or a valid work visa, including partnership visas)
• No visa sponsorship is available
