The Role:
Based in Auckland, you will take ownership of the selected hospitals both public & private in Auckland and travel North. As a key member of our team, you will:
- Develop Business Strategies: Utilise your successful sales track record in healthcare to create new business from existing accounts, ensuring excellent patient outcomes.
- Build Relationships: Establish long-lasting connections with leading surgeons and other clinicians, positioning yourself as an expert in high-technology therapies and products.
- Autonomy and Support: Work autonomously while being part of a friendly, supportive, and committed New Zealand team, contributing to the growth of the organisation.
About You:
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record in sales, specifically within the medical industry.
- Medical Background: Ideally, you are also have a nursing background, bringing a deep understanding of medical products and services.
- Hospital Sales Experience: A strong preference for candidates who have successfully sold into hospitals in New Zealand, with bonus points for those with a focus on wound care.
- Established Contacts: Ideally possess a network of contacts within the healthcare sector, particularly in hospitals, to facilitate effective relationship-building and product promotion.
- Wound Care Specialisation (Nice to Have): If you have experience in promoting wound care products, it would be considered a valuable asset.
- Navigational Skills: Ability to navigate the intricacies of hospital environments, understanding the decision-making processes and hierarchies.
- Results-Driven: A motivated and results-oriented professional, committed to achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for conveying complex medical information and building rapport with healthcare professionals.
- Adaptability: Comfortable adapting to the dynamic nature of the healthcare industry, staying informed about the latest trends and advancements.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset, capable of working seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure a holistic approach to client solutions.
