Our client is a highly respected global healthcare organisation with an enviable reputation for quality, innovation and clinical excellence. As they continue to invest in their New Zealand business, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Product Specialist to join their Auckland team.

The Opportunity
 
This is a senior territory management role where you'll take ownership of an established portfolio while continuing to identify opportunities for growth across both public and private hospitals.
Working closely with surgeons, theatre nurses, procurement teams and key hospital stakeholders, you'll become a trusted adviser, providing clinical support, product education and commercial solutions that help improve surgical outcomes.
You'll enjoy the autonomy to manage your territory while being backed by a collaborative and experienced leadership team committed to your success.
 
What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing long-term partnerships with surgeons, theatre staff and hospital decision-makers.
  • Growing an established territory while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Providing clinical support and product expertise within the operating theatre environment.
  • Delivering product education and training to healthcare professionals.
  • Planning and executing a strategic territory business plan.
  • Identifying opportunities to increase product utilisation and market share.
  • Working collaboratively with internal colleagues to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of market trends, customer needs and competitor activity.
  • Consistently delivering outstanding commercial results.
About You
We're interested in speaking with professionals who bring:
 
  • A successful track record selling medical devices into New Zealand hospitals.
  • Experience supporting clinicians within the operating theatre environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to develop long-term customer partnerships.
  • Confidence engaging with surgeons, theatre teams and senior hospital stakeholders.
  • Excellent territory planning and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work autonomously.
  • A genuine passion for improving patient outcomes through innovative healthcare solutions.
Experience within surgical, orthopaedics, wound care, infection prevention, capital equipment or other hospital-based medical device portfolios will be highly regarded.
