About the role
 
Hamilton or Tauranga based, covering Waikato & Bay of Plenty
 
Your product portfolio includes Advanced Surgical Technologies, Obesity and Metabolic Health and Hernia.  You will call on consultant surgeons, nursing leadership, inventory and procurement customers to protect, maintain and grow business across this portfolio.
 
Key responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
 

  • Operating theatre orientated role that includes busy and strategically important central Auckland Hospital Accounts
  • Drive new and existing growth orientated projects.
  • Have strong communication skills with a strong technical aptitude.
  • Ongoing participation in product training and attendance at marketing presentations (in person and virtual)
  • The successful applicant will need to have the ability to be flexible with time, as some operative cases can run into the evening, and occasionally on weekends.
Basic Qualifications Required
  • Minimum 3 years' successful sales experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare
  • Strong understanding of New Zealand's public and private hospital systems
  • Background in science, nursing, or business (degree preferred but not essential)
  • Commercially astute, results-driven, and able to work independently
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management ability
  • A valid driver's licence
Essential Requirements:
  • Tauranga or Hamilton Based
  • NZ Residency or NZ work Visa
  • Available to travel regularly within NZ
